What we earn from, and what we do not.
There are no affiliate links on this site. We are not a member of any affiliate programme or network, and nothing here earns a commission. Every outbound link to a retailer is a plain link.
Nothing here is monetised today. The intended model is affiliate commissions, and the rules below are the ones that will govern them.
The rule we will hold ourselves to
No affiliate link on a discount our own record does not substantiate.
Where we find that an advertised “original” price was not charged during the period we tracked it, that page will not carry a link to buy at the discount it has just questioned. It will show the price history instead.
What commissions will not affect
- Verdicts. These are computed from recorded prices by a published method. Commission rates are not an input, and no retailer can pay to change one.
- Which retailers we track. We track retailers whose data we can collect openly and reliably, whether or not they run an affiliate programme.
- Which findings we publish. We publish what the record shows, including about any retailer we come to earn from.
Other relationships
We take no advertising, sponsored content, paid placement, or payment of any kind from the retailers, manufacturers, or brands we track. Nobody has editorial input into a verdict. If we ever have a relationship with a company beyond an ordinary affiliate programme, we will disclose it on the page it affects, not only here.
